PITCH is Collision’s startup competition, which highlights the world’s most promising startups in an online pitching battle. PITCH is open to startup attendees at Collision that have received under $3 million in funding to date.

The top 50 startups will be shortlisted for the group rounds of the competition. In the group rounds an esteemed panel of judges will score each startup based on their two-minute application video. The highest scoring nine will progress to the streamed stages of the competition: the quarter-final, semi-final and final.

The group rounds of the competition will happen offline before Collision. The quarter-final, semi-final and final will be streamed for the first time on the Centre Channel during the event. The two-minute pitch video from startup applications will be featured on the profile of each shortlisted startup during the event. 

We’ve adapted the format of PITCH for an online space which emphasises the judge’s reactions and feedback to our lucky nine. This is a barebones presentation, with no pitch deck, so make the most of it. Three startups will progress to the semi-final, where they’ll be joined by three pre-selected startups. The top three from the semi-final will progress to the PITCH final and will fight it out for a chance to be crowned PITCH champion at Collision 2021.
